If I didn’t take a chance and do Kage Kombat that Monday night the Octagon and MMA would not be here today. I originated the Octagon wrote the rules for MMA got approved for the first license for MMA. This media package was what made sport legal. Also was given to Sean Perry of Endeavor when I met with them. Also was given to Nevada State Athletic Commission when Fertitta was on commission. Also was given to John Lewis who gave it to Dana White who then gave to Fertitta to get him interested. Endeavor was going to put me on channel 13 and I had Pay Per View. If endeavor never seen this they would have never got involved they made the sport happen. They now own UFC.
This reporter helped launch this as a accepted sport. She would watch Kage Kombat every night on Cox Cable in Palos Verdes. She called me and asked to cover my event. I said sure you have front row.
